The question bank I built to pass my own exams
One quiz engine, 1,300 questions, exams as tracks — built for my PSPO I, rebuilt for my AWS CLF-C02, and both exams passed. Not a study platform: a mastery machine.
The problem
Certification prep lives on practice questions, and most question banks are uncited, error-ridden, or both — you memorize answers without knowing why the wrong ones are wrong, which is exactly the knowledge the real exam tests. And no bank tracks what you keep failing; they just deal the next random twenty.
What I built
A full-stack quiz platform — 1,300 questions (780 PSPO, 520 CLF-C02), the PSPO bank cited to source down to section and quote — where every question carries an explanation and a rationale for each wrong option — so a miss teaches four things, not one. Sessions are selected by a weakness tracker that knows your mastery per topic and feeds you what you keep getting wrong; practice runs in five modes, from untimed drills to full timed exam simulation, with a progress dashboard over it all.
The platform decision was the interesting one: exams are tracks on one engine, not separate apps. It started as a PSPO I bank built by focus area; when CLF-C02 came, the 520-question bank loaded as a second track — new content, zero rebuild.
Live today
Both certifications passed — the platform did its job on its builder first. It runs in production with the PSPO I and CLF-C02 tracks open.
